My friend has a stun gun when he walks his dog. I don't know if he's ever had to use it directly on a dog. I believe he scared a dog with it and they drop to the ground and run away. They don't want to get near it.
Didn't think about that. Wonder if that would be the best solution? Can you use a stun gun more then once rapidly?

RE: Running a satellite dish with a honda generator
I wouldn't leave home without the Honda 2000. We went on a two week trip to the High Sierra's with quite a few family members, a baby and two dogs. Our Onan Generator wouldn't turn over so we used the Honda. What a life saver. It ran two tv's, satellite receiver, microwave convection oven, hair dryer and I was able to vacuum. We had one person that needed a breathing machine at night. What a neat little generator.

I'm thinking about Shutterfly for my photo's. I believe it's unlimited storage for around $25.00 a year.
I was looking at the site and it's free now. I do have a La Cie external hard drive for backup, but I do like the idea of sharing my photo's with friends and relatives and have an extra backup for my photo's.
RE: AT&T vs Verizon
I have Verizon and my friend switch to AT&T because he wanted a iphone. We can't even have a decent conversation now because his phone cuts off or sometimes I can't here him or he can't hear me. We never had that problem before until he switched phone companies.
RE: Get a new calendar yet?
My husband gets free calendars at work. People send in their best pictures and they choose from there which pictures go into the calendar. It's a nice calendar with all the tradition holidays and pay periods. I still buy my Thomas Kincaid calendar that fits in a frame.
RE: weather
OMG.... How can you stand the below temps. I guess I should stop complaining about our low 40's, but I hate cold weather. The heater is doing a job on my sinuses. My husband and I are on our fourth week with a nasty cold. I should move to Hawaii.
